The Greater Palm Springs annual Pride Festivities, including a 2-day festival and a parade, welcome approximately 25,000 visitors each year. The many local gay and lesbian resorts and nearby chain hotels fill to capacity, the area restaurants do gangbuster business, and bars are merry stomping grounds that few can resist! All this makes for an even gayer Palm Springs than usual!

Check out Greg Baird as he heads Southeast to Morehead State University with his lecture tour, Hear Me Out! "Celebrating Diversity, Acceptance and Community. Greg is a National lecturer on LGBTQ issues and hate crimes to colleges and universities. This lecture was wonderful, engaging the entire audience of students, faculty and staff.

At the Human Rights Campaign Garden Party 2009, HRC strived to offer its event guests some fun and fabulous fairy dust, all the while seeking financial contributions to keep its mission alive. The honored guest was Judy Shepard, mother of slain college student Matthew Shepard, mere days after she stood with President Obama as he signed sweeping federal hate crime legislation. The event was a big success.

The Palm Springs Village Fest is a fun Thursday night experience with plenty of LGBT's mixed in amongst both shoppers and sellers. Offering handmade and handpacked goods from more than 200 local vendor booths including food, snacks, produce, fine art, handicrafts, entertainment, and services in a friendly environment. Every Thursday on Palm Canyon Drive between Amado and Baristo. (except holidays)
